Fun Quote and Happy Birthday!

Last night J and E and I were all watching the Jazz game and E was asking all sorts of questions and one of them was who's Boozer? We showed her and then later on in the game, she pointed out Boozer to us. We complimented her on being observant and then I told her she needed to find out who Matt was (Matt Harpring - He's hot! ). She was quiet for a minute then said Matt? Like the car? We thought it over and figured out that she thought we were talking about car mats. :)

Happy birthday to my niece Brynnley! She's the big 3 today!! Wahoo!

Valentines Day, Vegas Baby! Birthday, Good Things Utah, and Locks of Love.

So it's been a while since my last post because soo much has been happening. First of all Valentines day was nice! Here's the shirts that G.P. Woods gave to the girls. J gave me flowers and made up a funny poem for me. The girls got toys from G.P. Egan. They got a few more things from us. Thanks G.P.'s for all the nice things!!



It was my birthday on the 21st and I was lucky enough to be able to celebrate it in several different ways. The morning of my birthday my mom and I had tickets to go see the show "Good Things Utah" down at the ABC4 studios. It was a lot of fun to see the girls from that show and be on TV, plus we were given gift certificates for Albertson's and also free movie ticket passes to a show in which the actors were there on the show to be interviewed. It was a fun experience.

Then we went shopping and to lunch and later I was able to go see my friend Jessica and get my hair chopped off. It was a bit scary but it turned out wonderful! It was a lot of fun to sit and chat with Jess for 2 hours too! She did a great job!

I just sent my pony tail off to Locks of Love today. I'm glad to be able to give something that might just be thrown away to such a good cause. I hope my hair will help somebody. Thanks Jess!

Finally, Vegas baby!! Loads of fun!!!! We always have such a fun time in Vegas going to shows, eating yummy food, and hanging out in the van, making fun of Diane (we love you Diane!) We were able to go to an Elvis impersonator, Toxic Audio (way fun btw!!! Very recommended!) and Phantom of the Opera. ( Michelle was in Heaven ). We ate at a Rodizio Grill type place and at various buffets for breakfast, and an Italian place with a very knowledgeable waiter that talked with a low voice but with such gusto and enthusiasm for the food that it was entertaining. We also ate at Ah Sin. A chinese restaraunt located across from the waters at Bellagio (my absolute favorite thing in Vegas) We all got a lesson in eating with chop sticks and I learned of my distinct inablity not to be able to use chop sticks! Did I say that right? Thank Heavens for forks and spoons! :) We also got to see the waters "go" a few times while we were eating. Nice!! Way fun vacation!! We also went up to the top of Paris' Eiffel tower for the first time since we've been to Vegas. It was very beautiful up there! Thanks so much to the Wood's for all their generosity!! It was a great trip! Plus, I got to go on 2 plane rides. How great is that?

I did it!!!

I'm way excited to announce that I did it!! I lost the desired amount of weight that I had set out to lose back in December. I gotta say that I didn't think I'd make it but as of Tuesday of this week, I hit my goal!! Wahoo!!!

A little hint of spring. Lovin it!

Yesterday, Allie and I were able to take an outdoor walk in the beautiful sunshine while Ellyse was at preschool! It was the 1st time this year I got to take a walk and I have to say I was LOVING it!! It was so nice yesterday! What made it so savory is the fact that this year's snow and winter weather have just been a headache. The sunshine and warm temp.s gave me enough hope that spring would surely return. What a nice thing to feel on a February day!

Allie had her 9 month well-baby appointment yesterday and she's a little on the skinny side, even though she seems more chubby to me than Ellyse ever did. She weighs 16 lbs and is 28 inches long already! Tall and skinny, I guess that's how we make them around here. I'm a bit confused though, you mom's will have to let me know what you think, but I thought at every well-baby check under age 1, there was a shot involved. Allie received no shots yesterday and so, I'm wondering if I've got to do some research and let them know we need her shots. Any help?

So, not a lot of people can say that all of their sister-in-laws birthdays are on the same day except for me!!! And my husband. But, anyway, Happy Birthday to Tiffany and Happy Birthday to Michelle!! I hope that both of your days are wonderful!
